Aren't you tired of doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same results? You can't solve your problems by using the same level of thinking you used to create them. This may help.
WHAT IS DEFLECTING?
Deflecting is identified as the act of blaming another person for your shortcomings rather than accepting the blame or criticism yourself according to betterhelp.com. Reflecting is a deep penetrating sense of awareness when you look for fresh insights and creative solutions. Reflecting is when you begin to take accountability, a very important step before you begin to implement change. Deflecting unlike reflecting is a pass the buck type of behavior – holding everyone and everything else accountable instead of considering yourself as a prime factor in the outcome. Speaking of prime factors, I am going to speak more about the issue of deflecting using mathematics, so you grasp more of the concept of deflecting. Numbers don’t lie especially when all arrows are directed towards you. You may ask “how do I implement change within myself? What are some key steps? I am going to share some important points of deflecting, and the concepts of problem solving, while using the language of mathematics from an article titled “Math and Life” from a book “Life Is A-Maze-Ing” written by Writer, Film Director, and Life Coach, K. Wisendanger.
THE PROBLEM VERUS THE SOLUTION
When results are not variable and they become consistent, look in the mirror and yourself “Could I be the problem?” If you are the problem and you have difficulty implementing change, seek professional assistance. I am sure you heard of the common saying “you are either part of the problem or part of the solution”. If you are the problem in part or whole, change! Change is inevitable; during the process of change do not be resistant. When you have been through something “x amount times” ask yourself “y?” The most appropriate question to ax-is excuse me, I meant to say ask is, “If didn’t take these actions would the problem even have existed?” Stop thinking others are the common denominator because you may be co-efficient. This is true especially if your actions produce similar results. In this case the evidence is sufficient that you are the problem within the equation. Live with it! You have the power to change. Do not be resistant! If only a fraction of the problem is them and most of the problem is you, hold yourself accountable. This is not the time for contesting, this is the time for accepting. This is the time where you assess your deficiencies and correct them, add meaningful changes -subtracting anything that does not result in a positive income. If there is anything that arises that can conflict with a positive outcome that convinces you to relapse into any detrimental behaviors, this is time for rejecting. Your level of response should always be appropriate given the severity of the issue. Yourself, multiplied by the same actions, equals, yourself causing the same things to happen. “Stupidity is when you do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. You cannot solve the problems using the same level of thinking you used to create them”, Albert Einstein says.
SOLITUDE
Divide yourself from others during the process of change. Be alone or in the company of others who are going to keep you motivated, focused and in good spirits. Divide yourself from any negativity. If you don’t divide yourself from negative people, their habits are what you will inherit.
GOALS
Don’t be discouraged. You can do it. You have free will, meaning you have the power to bend it! Be intentional about your goals to achieve the desired result. Goals should never be open ended. Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. Goals should be singular and not blended. When goals are plural and complex, the results will not compliment the sum of the plan you have intended.
